Took me a long time to decide on a new chair for my home office. For the last 5+ years of working from home, I have mainly been using an old kitchen table chair with a good quality cushion and a $40 wobbly desk. When my chair started to finally break, I decided I should consider buying a good quality chair and started looking at a whole lot of options. What I found was that the good high quality office chairs were looking closer to $1,000-$1,500 and the good high quality gaming chairs were closer to $400-$600. After looking at a whole lot of reviews comparing the gaming chairs to the office chairs, I decided gaming chair.
I mainly went back and forth between two brands, one of them being AndaSeat. I actually had my mind already made up on the AndaSeat Kaiser 2 and I decided I was going to buy that until I saw the Black Friday deal on this T-Pro 2 and that I could get the T-Pro 2 and an AndaSeat desk together for cheaper than the Kaiser 2 alone.
After thinking about it for a few more days, emailing their customer support and trying to find any chair local where I could sit in one, I decided to just buy it and hope for the best.
Thankfully, this chair was built exactly for me. I'm about 6'4 and I would almost imagine that someone came and measured me in my sleep one day and then built this chair around those dimensions. I am legitimately surprised at how comfortable it is. At the right recline position I literally feel no pressure on my lower back at all and can sit it in for hours without feeling like I need to get up and move. I even bought a standing desk attachment because with my last chair I had to get up all the time. Now there are quite a few days were I realize I forgot to use the standing attachment by the end of the day because I never got uncomfortable sitting. The headrest cushion and lumbar support cushion also fit me perfectly and land exactly where I would want them to be. There are some minor minor things that are not 100% perfection, but thankfully they are very small. Overall I would give this chair close to a 10/10. The desk is really nice and sturdy as well. While I was not in the market for a new desk at the time, I'm glad to be rid of that cheap wobbly desk.
Moral of the story, if you're looking for a new office chair, consider looking at gaming chairs as well (but also be careful on the exact brand/model as some mainly sell the aesthetic vs selling comfort). . And if you happen to be around 6'4, this specific model might end up being one of the best options out there for you. Also, with them being so hard to find locally to sit in before you buy it, feel free to hit me up if you want to sit in this one to try it out first.
